Karen got sprung at 3:45 p.m. today. She had a rough night and wasn't doing well early a.m. But by 11 a.m., they knew she was well enough to leave -- she asked for a red pen to correct the grammatical errors in the Patient Handbook.
We will be staying here within the hospital in the penthouse suites. (Hospital rooms converted to sleeping quarters for family members staying for extended periods.)
Awaiting the date and time of the appointment to take the plugs out of her nostrils (Thursday or Friday) and eastbond we go.
She enjoyed a chocolate brownie for lunch. Well, those taste buds work. And if you can taste chocolate, what more can you ask for?

Yea!!!!!! GREAT news!!!! Gosh, I am so relieved that this is going well...or at least so much better than Karen worried about! I know there's alot of tests that haven't come back yet, but this definitely encouraging news! There's nothing better than the taste of chocolate...chocolate cake, chocolate pie, chocolate brownies, chocolate cookies, chocolate fudge, chocolate...chocolate....chocolate!!!!!
Sending lots of love, hugs, and continued prayers & good healing vibes,
Sis Kris & Mark
Feel so much better after talking with Karen. I told you all would be OK. Just keep the faith. Just remember you are in my prayers and I love you. Your kitties are doing fine and when I go in to feed them, Jingle rips and races all around the house and on Dennis' chair. Tommy is at the door with his mournfull meow.
Keep in mind that the Lord is with you, and His plan is your plan. We don't always understand.
Anything you want me to do before you get home? Milk, bread etc.
