Greetings from Steeler city.
We took a little walk today and Karen got all tuckered out. Little steps and little trips. Then she takes a little pill and is out for at least 3 hours.
We are already getting ready to leave. Have the doctor's appointment tomorrow to remove the plugs. Or as Karen said, "Pack our bags and unpack my nose."
So some wanted to know what NECC is all about. Karen must make a presentation of an online course for school administrators that she created. This course helps administrators to learn about the Maryland technology literacy standards. It is part of the administrative certificate that she has been working on for the last year. NECC stands for National Educating Computing Conference, sponsored by ISTE (International Society for Technology Educators). Her administrator certificate program is a special nation wide program in cooperation with ISTE and Johns Hopkins University.
We don't yet know how much, if any, radiation treatment will be required in the next couple months. Depends on the results of the pathology report.
Thanks to all for your prayers, moral support, concern.

I'm so glad you're so close to going home! There's nothing like getting real rest in your own house and a good nights sleep in your own bed! And, I'm sure that your furbabies miss you very much. I'm anxious to talk to Karen when she is feeling up to it. Take it easy and drive safely on your way home.
Lots of Love, Hugs, Prayers and Good Healing Vibes,
Sis Kris and Mark
